Questions about fees and funding
Below are some frequently asked questions about fees and funding. If you can't find the question and answer you are looking for, please get in contact.
Fees are aligned with the current NDIS price guide for Speech Pathology, which is currently $193.99 per hour for assessment, therapy and other clinical services, and 50% of this rate ($97.00 per hour) for therapist travel time.
The following types of funding can be used for services:
NDIS self-managed participants (if Speech Pathology is considered a reasonable and necessary support that aligns with the individual's NDIS goals)
NDIS plan-managed participants (if Speech Pathology is considered a reasonable and necessary support that aligns with the individual's NDIS goals)
Privately paying clients
Private Health Insurance rebates (if the client's provider and level of cover includes rebates for Speech Pathology - please check with your cover provider, as services covered and rebate amounts vary between Private Health Insurers and plans/cover)
Medicare Rebates (with a valid referral/GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (previously Chronic Disease Management Plan) from a GP, or a valid referral from a Paediatrician for clients with an eligible disability or neurodevelopmental condition).
Wildflower Speech & Feeding Therapy is not currently able to provide services to NDIS participant's whose funding is NDIA/Agency managed.
If you have access to a different type of funding, and would like to discuss if this can be used to access services at Wildflower Speech & Feeding Therapy, contact by phone or email to discuss.
